Samy Tshimanga is an example of how online connections grow over time as your nurture them. We connected through a mutual friend for an interview a few years back and have kept in touch through the years. We have collaborated, bounced ideas off each other and simply talked about life.

 

Samy is a music junkie a founder of Sparkle Media Africa, a digital media consulting agency that helps up-and-coming artists, nonprofits and entrepreneurs,  get their stuff out there through PR and media relations. The agency is focused on working with those in the African diaspora tell their stories through their music business.

 

Samy and I talk about dealing with criticism, starting a new project, when to cut people off and how to not burnout in the process.
