It’s not over yet!

We are in the final phase of the year – But IT’S NOT OVER YET- time of the year. I don’t care if you lurked, dragged, hid in fear, or were lazier than ever- 2018 is STILL going to be your best year ever.”

This was a note from my mentor and one of my coaches, Nicole Walters. She challenged those of us in her group to continue to work towards the goals we set for the year. Because as you probably already realized, many of us set well meaning goals at the beginning of the year but fail to actually get them done.

If you’re like me, sometimes you start off strong and focused  but your consistency and drive weans as the year goes. Whatever excuses we tell ourselves as to why we didn’t accomplish the goals we set are just that … excuses. They still don’t get us closer to the goal. The only way to get closer to the goal is to move forward.

IT’S NOT OVER YET!

If you’re reading this it means you have today to get something done. It means you can show up, launch, record, write, share, pitch, whatever it is you said you would do. You have to make that move.

Alright, time to get to work. Here is a modified version of what Nicole asked us to do for the remaining days in the year:

List as many small/big wins as possible (it could be cleaned your kitchen, went to therapy, published a youtube video).

3-5 mini goals (to be completed within the next 60 days).

One major impact goal for 2019, and something you can do today to make it happen.

Take out your notebook, open up that Google Doc, or use your phone. Take a moment and do the exercise. Remember it’s as important to celebrate your process as it is to plan for the results. Send me your replies! I would love to celebrate your wins with you and also see how I can help with the goals you have.

Hang in there. Do that ONE thing today, right now if you can. Get out of the mood of ‘shoulda, coulda, woulda’ and just do it. Every move matters. Make your next best move.
